About the Made to Soar Movement
Our Vision
The Made to Soar Movement began with a story, one written straight from a grandfather’s heart to his granddaughter for her fifth birthday. When I wrote The Chicken and the Eagle, I wanted to give my granddaughter something more than a book; I wanted to give her truth, a reminder that she is deeply loved by God, created with purpose, and made to soar above life’s challenges.
After writing the book, I felt the Lord stirring something deeper in my heart, that this message wasn’t meant for just one child, but for every child. I sensed God saying, “This story needs to reach homes, classrooms, and hearts across the world.”
So, I reached out to family and friends who believed in the same vision, to help launch this story as a message of faith, identity, and hope. Together, as the founding members of the Made to Soar Movement, we celebrated the official launch in August 2025. By God’s grace, that weekend the book rose to the Top 15 Best Sellers on Amazon! A clear sign that this message was resonating far beyond our expectations.
Since then, we’ve seen this story bring transformation to families, children’s ministries, and classrooms throughout our state. Parents, grandparents, and teachers have shared how the book opened up conversations about faith, purpose, and identity in Christ.
Now, God is expanding the vision. The Made to Soar Movement is more than a children’s book, it’s a calling to equip and empower families, educators, caretakers, and foster parents with faith-based tools, prayer, and encouragement.
Our mission is to help children discover who they are in Christ, understand their true purpose, and build stronger bonds within their families. This is a movement to bring our children closer to God, and closer to the hearts of those who love them most.
Because when children know who they are in Christ, they rise with confidence, live with purpose, and soar with faith.
